Welcome to Groruddalen Rotaract Club, Norway

Rotaract was founded in 1968 by Rotary International, a worldwide association of service-minded business and professional leaders. Today there are more than 500 Rotary-sponsored Rotaract Clubs in some 107 countries around the world, with over 100,000 members.

Most Rotaract activities take place at the club level. Rotaract clubs hold formal meetings, usually every two weeks, which feature speakers, special outings, social activities, discussions or visits to other clubs. Club members get together on designated weekends for service project work, social events, or professional/leadership development workshops.

Groruddalen Rotaract Club was chartered by Groruddalen Rotary on the 15. of May 1986. The club has since then been elected Club of the Year three times and been the home club of four Country Presidents.

We are currently 16 male members from around Oslo. If you require more information of our range of activities and how to become a member, please do not hesitate to contact our president.

If you would like to visit other Rotaract Clubs around the world www.rotaract.org is a good place to start.
